That DNA has carried him from his earliest beginnings to his more recent collaborations with a host of cultural icons and brand ambassadors, including Travis Kelce, Gigi Hadid, and Zendaya.
As the U.S. marks its 250th anniversary and Hilfiger unveils his Fall ’26 collection—a tribute to cable knits, varsity jackets and the New York style that inspired him while living at the Plaza Hotel—we caught up with the designer to talk risk-taking, reinvention and why he still believes the best is yet to come.
