Showstopper: Sydnie Banks

Shae begins where utility ends, reimagining the eyeglass case as an object of sculptural beauty. Created by Sydnie Banks, the bespoke eyeglass case draws inspiration from a singular vintage piece found in the archive of her father, renowned artist Kreg Harrison, and is reimagined through Sydnie’s sculptural lens. Originally conceived as a one-of-a-kind gift, Shae quickly revealed itself as something more: a modern heirloom, handcrafted with intention and now offered exclusively as a made-to-order design.

Each case, available in regular and oversized formats, is entirely handmade and 100% saddle-stitched by Sydnie herself. Clients may customize leather, color, and scale, with options including American alligator, Atlantic cowhide, supple lamb linings, solid brass post closures, charm loops, and hand-stamped initials. Edges are painted and sanded by hand, seams are stitched with lin cable, and every detail is executed with precision.
