Designer Robin Renzi remains guided by curiosity, driven by discovery, and passionate about the jewelry she creates.

Thirty-five years into building a brand, many designers might look backward. Robin Renzi is more interested in what she hasn’t discovered yet. The founder and designer of Me&Ro speaks about jewelry with infectious energy, moving easily from a rare rose-cut diamond to vintage coral, from the warmth of 22K gold to a turquoise she has tucked away for years. There is always another stone to find, another object to study, another idea waiting to become wearable.
“The stones speak for themselves,” she said.
That sense of discovery has propelled Renzi through more than three decades in business. It also explains why, despite the challenges of running an independent company through 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, economic downturns, and COVID, she remains grateful for the career she never really planned. “I have been very lucky,” she said. “To be able to make things I love and make a living at it is very lucky.”
