Paul Andrew knows shoes. More specifically, he understands the almost mystical combination of proportion, construction, femininity and fantasy that can turn a shoe into an object of desire. Over the course of a storied career, Andrew has worked alongside some of fashion’s most influential names, led creative direction for a legendary luxury house and built an eponymous collection that has earned him awards, devoted retailers, loyal customers and considerable industry admiration. The recipient of an Accessories Council ACE Award, he is also the first footwear designer to win the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.

As a child growing up in Berkshire, England, he wanted to become an architect. He spent weekends going into London to look at buildings under construction and was fascinated by the idea of creating something from the ground up.
