ACE 2026 Brand Innovation: Monica Rich Kosann
When the Accessories Council honors Monica Rich Kosann with an ACE Award, we celebrate more than a successful fine jewelry brand. We celebrate a woman who has built a luxury storytelling business on meaning and quality; a woman who has long been an extraordinary supporter of the Ac community and a pioneer in Certified B-Corporation standards in the jewelry industry. Thoughtful in both word and action, Kosann represents the very best of what the accessories category can be: creative, principled, and deeply human.
Long before she launched her eponymous label over twenty years ago, Kosann told stories through a camera lens. At 16, mentored by her father, she learned how to frame a photograph and capture emotion in a single image…photography became not just a passion but a language, a means of expression. An English major with an Art minor at Clark University, Kosann also studied photography in Austria, at the Sorbonne in Paris, and the Rhode Island School of Design to expand her educational prowess.
