K Bell

A creative entrepreneur from an early age, Bell often made her own clothes in high school. She used her fashion sense and determination to create socks and tights featuring her signature K.Bell charm and appeal.

Bell, who was looking for a side business while working as a secretary, began by embellishing plain white socks with rhinestones and buttons as well as dyeing hosiery in fun fashion colors. Sattache

Sattache

A lifestyle accessories brand that focuses on innovative living through function, sophistication, and environmentally-conscious products, Sattache wants to replace every bag in your closet--with a better bag.

Designed to be worn as a backpack, crossbody, sling, or hand-held tote, the Sattaché Classic is designed to be packable, foldable, or rollable and is just the right size for carrying all the extras: from a change of shoes to a water bottle to a cell phone and wallet. The brainchild of founder Irina Titova-Kashan, Sattaché bags are eco-friendly and anti-microbial. The idea came to mind when Titova-Kashan was traveling around the world. “I realized there was a common thread for women. Living in a city means having to change your shoes for various reasons, from inclement weather to trying to fit in a gym session,” she said. “Most don’t have a functional and fashionable way to carry their shoes while navigating subways and city streets.”
